Spray Vinegar Around Your Windows — Here is Why.

I can't wait for that moment to throw my windows open to fresh spring breezes. Unfortunately, bugs are waiting for that opportunity, too. They seem to somehow make it through the tiniest nooks and crannies - even through screens.
Fortunately, there’s an easy way to deter bugs (particularly spiders) from making their home in yours — one that doesn’t involve spraying poisonous pesticides indoors. Use a diluted vinegar solution to safely and successfully repel those eight-legged creatures. The acetic acid in vinegar is what does it.
Mix a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar and spray around your window frame. Do this indoors and outside.
I know what you’re thinking, and here’s the answer: the smell — to human noses at least — dissipates as soon as the vinegar dries. Besides, I’d take a whiff of vinegar over spiders in my bedroom any day, wouldn’t you?
